Services to be run during the general government holiday to combat coronavirus. The Prime Minister’s Office issued the notification on Thursday (April 7), signed by the Prime Minister’s Chief Secretary, Dr. Ahmed Kayakous.
It establishes that for the prevention of coronavirus (COVD-1), the following services will continue to operate in the interest of keeping the general service and supply chain as normal as possible during the public holiday and the restrictions of restriction and public exit or any agreement control and prevention:
A) Emergency services such as: electricity, water, gas, fire services, cleaning activities, telephone and internet, and vehicles and personnel dedicated to these services.
B) Vehicles and personnel dedicated to medical care and transportation of medical equipment, including medications.
C) Vehicles and personnel belonging to the pharmaceutical industry.
D) Vehicles and personnel dedicated to the transport of basic products, food, baby food, dairy and dairy products and feed.
E) Vehicles and personnel dedicated to the transport of agricultural products, fertilizers, pesticides, fuels, etc .; Vehicles and workers engaged in the production and transportation of the basic products of life, including the production of agricultural products, the production of the fishing and livestock sectors, dairy products, food production.
G) Vehicles and personnel dedicated to maintaining the aforementioned services.
The notification indicates that general holidays and public holidays, by the Cabinet Division and the Ministry of Public Administration, as well as preventive measures to control traffic and traffic restrictions or instruction Relatively emitted ions will continue as usual.
Other services, including newspapers, will continue
Previously, on April 5, a notification from the Ministry of Public Administration stated that the license would not be applicable to emergency services (electricity, water, gas, fire services, cleaning activities, telephone and internet, etc.). In addition, the transportation of agricultural products, fertilizers, pesticides, fuel, newspapers, food, industrial products, medical equipment, emergency and essential products and raw materials, food, pharmacies and hospitals will be covered during the holidays. The office can be opened in an emergency.
Considering the needs of the people, the Bank of Bangladesh will be able to continue the banking system on a limited basis, it said in the notification.
