The resolution adopted at the meeting said that the making of human idols or sculptures for any purpose is strictly prohibited in Islam. It is not lawful to pay tribute to a great person or leader by placing idols or sculptures. This causes pain in the soul of the deceased Muslim. It is reasonable to look for an alternative better supported by the Qur’an and Sunnah without building idols or sculptures to pay tribute to someone and keep their memory alive.

Another resolution strongly condemned insult, ridicule, satirical cartoons, etc. of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Strict monitoring of abusive behavior and maximum legal action against the guilty are required.
