Meanwhile, after the incident, local defendants Delwar, Badal, Kalam and their associates blocked the family of the abused housewife for some time. At one point, the entire family was forced from their homes. Due to this, the incident remained invisible to the locals and the police administration.
However, the video was released on social media Facebook. The video of the housewife tortured on Sunday, 32 days after the incident, went viral on social media Facebook. The woman then filed a case Sunday night. Begumganj OC Muhammad Harun Aur Rashid Chowdhury said the victim had filed two separate cases at the Begumganj police station around 12:15 pm on Sunday.
