Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud said that Riyadh will fully support the process of normalization of relations with Zionist Israel if the only preconditions of his country are met. He made the remarks in an interview on the sidelines of the G20 Virtual Conference on Saturday.
Faisal bin Farhan said that the Riyadh government will fully support the establishment of relations with Israel if a dignified state is established for the Palestinians by signing a permanent and comprehensive peace agreement.
In the past two months, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan have signed agreements to normalize relations with Israel. Furthermore, a few more Arab states are expected to follow suit. Riyadh has previously backed the deal and opened Saudi airspace for Israeli flights with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
Although these Arab countries have normalized relations with Israel, the Palestinians have strongly condemned and criticized them. Parstude
