Actor Sadek Bachchu, who was infected with coronavirus, was transferred to the Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali from Dhaka Medical College due to his deteriorating condition. There he is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Covid Unit.

Authorities at Universal Medical College Hospital told NTV Online on Sunday morning that the medical board will treat Sadek Bachchu at noon. A decision will then be made about the treatment of Sadeq Bachchu.

Sadeq Bachchu is one of the leading actors in Bengali films. He made his film debut in theatrical and television dramas. Sadek Bachchu began performing as a regular BTV artist in 1986-8. His first drama on BTV was ‘Prothom Angikar’.

Sadek Bachchu made his acting debut in the 1975 film Ramer Sumati. He is a retired official of the Bangladesh Postal Department.
