Veteran film actor Sadeq Bachchu was buried at the Jhilpar family cemetery in Khilgaon in the capital on Monday (September 14). Earlier, his janaza took place there.
At first, Sadeq Bachchu was to be buried in the Taltala cemetery in the same area. But since he died of coronary heart disease, complications prevented him from being buried there.
Zayed Khan, Secretary General of the Bangladesh Film Artists Association, confirmed the matter. He said that Sadeq Bachchu was taken from the hospital to Al Markazul for a bath. From there, the body was brought to Khilgaon at the request of his family. After that janaza and burial took place in that area.
Earlier, Sadeq Bachchu breathed his last at the Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali at 12:05 p.m. Monday. Her death has cast a shadow of mourning over show business.
