Sadat Rahman said he was moved by the suicide of a 10th-class student in Pirojpur who was the victim of cyberbullying. More incidents of this type are occurring in the country. As you can see, around 49 percent of adolescents in Bangladesh are victims of this type of cyberbullying. But they can’t tell anyone about their problems. The police are far from that, many do not even inform their parents about it. In the end, many choose suicide.
Sadat says the launch of Cyber Teens, an online platform to help children and teens who have been victims of cyberbullying, began in October last year. Through this application, law enforcement agencies communicate with affected adolescents. First, the victim receives emotional support. An attempt was also made to immobilize the accused. However, when the matter reached the criminal stage, it was reported to the police department. Narail Deputy Commissioner Anjuman Ara and Police Superintendent Mohammad Jasimuddin have streamlined the process.
Sadat said that he wants to spend the lakh of euros he received from the award on developing the app on this project. May I be a model for everyone.
