Russia has said it will not mistake its missile program for a return to normalcy on the Iran nuclear deal. Mikhail Ulyanov, Russian ambassador to the United Nations in Vienna, made the remarks.
Mikhail Ulyanov wrote in a tweet that some analysts were demanding that Iran’s nuclear deal be linked to its missile program and regional influence.
He added that this point of view was “incorrect”. Issues that require the cooperation of the countries of the region should not be confused with the Iran nuclear deal.
Meanwhile, the government led by US President Donald Trump withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal in May 2016. It then imposed strict sanctions on Iran.
However, the United States withdrew from the deal, but the other signatories agreed to abide by the nuclear deal. But these countries have not given Iran the financial benefits of the deal.
