Robert Lewandowski lost to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The forward from Poland and Bayern Munich won the FIFA Footballer of the Year award. Lewandowski says this is one of the best accolades of his career. The Polish striker was instrumental in helping the German giants win the Bundesliga and the Champions League. Levan recently became the third footballer to score 250 goals in the Bundesliga. In recognition of this, FIFA has selected the Polish footballer as the best player of the year.
