The death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has finally led to the arrest of popular actress Riya Chakraborty.
The Indian Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Sushant’s girlfriend on drug charges, according to NDTV.
Earlier, rear brother Sauvik Chakraborty was arrested in a drug case. Rhea and Sauvik are already being questioned by the Office of Drug Control.
According to various Indian media reports, during interrogation, Riya and Sauvik said that many Bollywood actors, directors and producers were involved in drug trafficking. Riya has also revealed the names of some 25 Bollywood stars to NCB. Some of these Bollywood stars have drugs at their parties. Riya used to have cannabis at home. The cannabis was brought in by Deepesh Sawant, which was supplied to Sushant.
Rear NCB has made a list based on that confession. The list includes the names of directors, actors, and actresses. The leaders of the opposition parties are also on the list. These personalities can be called and interrogated in the next few days. The NCB is also investigating the role of the rearguard at Bollywood parties where drugs were smuggled.
Regarding Riya’s confession, her lawyer Satish Mansinde said that she used to use drugs long before Riya entered Sushant’s life. Riya even knew that during the filming of Kedarnath in 2016-2017, she used to use cannabis regularly. It’s not like Rhea was addicted to drugs after she came into his life. Sushant used to take drugs despite the doctor’s prohibition.
