The BBC has published a list of the 100 most inspiring and influential women of 2020. Rina Akhter and Rima Sultana Remu from Bangladesh have appeared on the list.
Number six on the list is Rina Akhter. Rina delivered food to the homes of sex workers with no income during the Corona epidemic. He and his accomplices delivered about 400 meals a week to sex workers. Rina Akhter, once a sex worker, told the BBC: “People despise us. But we do this at the expense of the stomach. Among the top 100 women in South Asia are four from India, two from Pakistan, two from Afghanistan and one from Nepal.
