Mohammad Hossain was kidnapped around 3:30 pm on Wednesday. He was working as a CPP volunteer in the A / 1 block of Shafiullah Kata Rohingya camp under the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Office (RRRC) in Cox’s Bazar.

He was rescued from Block D No. 18 of the refuge camp around 1 pm yesterday.

He was admitted to Cox’s Bazar District Sadar Hospital on the advice of a doctor, as his condition did not improve today.

Hemayetul Islam said there were allegations that some Rohingya abducted Hossain Ali, a Rohingya CPP volunteer, from the Shafiullah Kata Rohingya camp area in the Palangkhali Union of Ukhia. The incident was reported to APBN by his office and family.

Subsequently, members of the Armored Police Battalion (APBN) began various activities to rescue him. After a long fight, he was rescued after about 10 hours. Attempts are being made to identify and arrest those involved in the incident.
