The driver of the car Pintu Mia (29) raped a 31-year-old businesswoman in a private car while traveling in Gazipur. He is the son of Barek Miah from the Naola area of Kaliakair upazila of Gazipur. Police arrested the driver on Thursday (October 15) afternoon.

At that time he was greeted by Pintu Meer, the driver of an old private family car. Pintu Mia picked up the two women in the car and told them that she would drive them home. When Pintu offered to take a ride in the car, the woman agreed. Later, the salon businesswoman left in a private car with her son and girlfriend. On the way they eat phuchka. Later, when his son Halim took the deposit to eat, they went to Jirani. There, the woman’s girlfriend and son got out of the car and went to the store to eat Halim. At that point, Pintu went a little further with the woman in the private car and raped her. When relatives of the raped woman reported the incident to their homes, they reported the incident to 999. The raped woman went to the Ashulia Police Station on Thursday morning to present a case. Upon learning of the matter, Pintu went there to negotiate with the victim. At that time the police arrested Pintu. But since the scene was in Gazipur, he was handed over to the Kashimpur Police Station of the Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP).
