The incident took place at the home of Jaharlal Basak in the Munsef Para area of ​​District 5 of Patuakhali Municipality on Saturday morning (December 19). The student’s family believes the suicide occurred out of love.

Devajyoti Basak is a second-year Anthropology student at Perth Rajshahi University. He is the only son of Jaharlal Basak from the Munsef Para area (PTI officer) of District 5 of Patuakhali Municipality.

According to relatives and local sources, Devajyoti Basak Parthar has trouble talking to other girls on her mobile. Around 8 in the morning, Baba Jaharlal Basak entered the room and saw him hanging with a fan hook, screaming and screaming. He was rushed to Patuakhali Hospital with the help of the locals and the doctor on duty pronounced him dead.

“We played cricket in the afternoon and badminton in the evening,” said Fahim, a friend of Devajyoti Basak Parthar. So I didn’t think any of that. I spoke by messenger until late at night. The last word is around 5 am. He still didn’t say anything.

Akhtar Morshed, a police officer in charge of Patuakhali Sadar, said the body was recovered from the hospital and sent to the morgue for an autopsy.
