The government will provide salaries and subsidies directly to MPO-registered teachers and employees of private educational institutions (schools and colleges) as its own bank. On Thursday (January 8), the Department of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education requested an urgent update from stakeholders.

According to ministry sources, the salaries and allowances of government employees are delivered directly to the central bank. As part of this core arrangement, arrangements are being made to pay salaries and subsidies to private teachers and employees of the Finance Department MPO.

According to the order of the department office, the MPO money of the teaching staff of the MPO registered educational institutions (schools and colleges) under the Department of Secondary and Higher Education will be sent through EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) in the GTP (Government to Person) system.
According to the order, on September 2 of last year a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the secretary of the finance department to facilitate the disbursement of MPO (Monthly Payment Order) to teachers and staff of MPO registered educational institutions ( schools and colleges). At that meeting, it was decided to send the teacher-employees using EFT in GTP system to the bank accounts that the teacher-employees use to pay the MPO.

The necessary updates have already been made to the online MPO system. Teachers and staff of educational institutions registered with the MPO (schools and colleges) under the Department of Secondary and Higher Education need accurate information to send MPO money through EFT.

The information requested in the order

1) Number of national identity document of teachers and staff;

2) Names of teachers and staff according to SSC and equivalent certificate (MPOS sheet according to SSC and equivalent certificate, the name of the national identity card must be the same);

3) Those who do not have SSC and equivalent certificate, their last educational qualification certificate (MPOSheet and national identity card must have the same name)

4) The name of the bank account must be in the name of teachers and employees;

5) Bank name, branch name and routing number;

6) Teacher and employee bank account number (13-16 digit online bank account number);

6) Date of birth of teachers and staff;

6) passage of the salary code and salary code for teachers and employees;

9) Mobile number of teachers.

If this information is not accurate, MPO money sent through EFT will not be credited to the teacher-employee bank. The necessary instructions together with a link to the EMIS (Electronic Management Information System) software will be provided soon on the website of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education for the online collection of such information through the Head of Institution.

The office order has directed all department directors, all regional directors, assistant principals, district secondary education officials, all principals and school principals to take the necessary steps for the distribution of MPO funds to through EFT.
