Dhaka: In the academic year 2021, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) has directed the admission in the lottery from first class to ninth class in private educational institutions.
The lottery process has been ordered to be posted live on Facebook Live or any other social network to avoid crowds due to the Corona situation.
Saturday (December 12) said Deputy Inspector Mausi (College-2). The directive was signed by Enamul Haque Hawladar.
According to the directive, it has been decided to select students by lottery for admission to private educational institutions from 1st class to 9th class in the academic year 2021 due to the Kovid-19 virus. In the academic year 2021, 150 rupees were fixed by lottery in private secondary schools. In accordance with Admission Policy-2020, private schools will manage the admission process by lottery under their own management. Specific instructions must be followed in case of admission.
The date of the lottery has been ordered to be set and the Admissions Oversight and Examination Committee reported.
Lottery activities must be conducted with social distance in mind while maintaining social distance.
To ensure transparency and accountability in lottery activities, the supervision and monitoring of admissions constituted in accordance with the policy should be ensured in the presence of the school’s admissions management committee, the parent representative, the representative of the management committee and teacher representative.
To avoid crowds due to the Corona situation, the lottery process must be organized to be broadcast live on Facebook Live or any other social network.
Above all, it is important to ensure that the student lottery selection process is not questioned in any way.
The directive further said that private schools-schools and universities issued by the Ministry of Education in the policy of admission of students of secondary, lower secondary and connected primary (revised) -2020 must be properly followed.
