Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sent a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan wishing him a happy Pakistan Day. Sheikh Hasina conveyed the greetings in a letter to Imran Khan on Tuesday. The letter reached the media on Wednesday.
In the letter, the Prime Minister wished the best of the Pakistani people and wanted to develop relations between the two countries. In it, Sheikh Hasina said: ‘Bangladesh is determined to maintain peaceful and cooperative relations with neighboring countries, including Pakistan. I believe that the existing relationship between Bangladesh and Pakistan has the potential to deepen and diversify in the future.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina further mentioned, on behalf of the Government and people of Bangladesh, and on my behalf, I would like to extend my sincere greetings to the Government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day. The people of the two countries can benefit if the trip is maintained on the basis of the partnership for development and peace.
Finally, Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina wished Prime Minister Imran Khan of Pakistan good health and happiness, as well as continued progress and prosperity of the people of Pakistan.
Early Tuesday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a letter to Imran Khan wishing him a happy Pakistan Day. The letter also said that India was in favor of a peaceful solution to the Kashmir problem.
A week ago, the powerful Pakistani army chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, addressed a seminar on the Kashmir issue through talks.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has contracted the coronavirus. His crown was caught last Saturday. The next day, Sunday, his wife Bushra Bibi also tested positive.
