Less than two weeks after marrying her longtime boyfriend, Sam Bombay, actress Poonam Pandey filed a lawsuit against her husband for beating and threatening him. Later, the police arrested Sam and took him to court.
According to Indian media, a court in Goa granted Sam conditional bail.
Early Tuesday, the police arrested Poonam’s husband from Goa. The incident took place in a village in South Goa. Poonam is filming a movie there. From there, the actress filed a case against her husband at the police station Monday night on charges of harassment, beatings and threats. Later, the police arrested Sam.
Sam Bombay has been asked to respond to the allegations within the next four days starting Wednesday.
