Plaintiff ASI Nuruzzaman mentioned in the statement, the defendant said. When he learned that Billal Hossain was staying at Aminul Islam’s house in Siddhirganj’s Jalkuri Paschimpara, he went to the house with the local night guard Nasir (40) at 12:10 pm. Later, the owner of the house called Aminul Islam and asked if the accused was staying at his home. After questioning, they did not open the door of the house and began to speak to the police from inside.

After ASI Nuruzzaman and other policemen went to the room where the defendant was staying, the owner of the house, Aminul, called the local mosque and said that the thieves had arrived at the house and that the microphones had to be made in the mosque.

According to him, after making a microphone in the mosque, 30/40 people came in addition to the accused, took the clothes of the policemen and dragged them away. They were beaten and wounded with sticks. Later, when they went to catch the accused in the house, they threatened to kill the policemen.

The Siddhirganj police inspector admitted the incident (investigation), he said. Sharif Hossain told Kaler Kantha that when he went to the Jalkuri Paschimpara area around 12 pm to arrest the accused, the police officers on duty were beaten like robbers. A case has been filed in this regard.
