A relative of PK Haldar, Amitabh Adhikari, a former director of People’s Leasing, and Ujjwal Kumar Nandi, a former colleague of PK Haldar and a former president of People’s Leasing, were named in the case.

Subsequently, PK informed the High Court about Haldar’s return to the country on October 20. PK Haldar’s ILFSL company informed the High Court that it had booked a ticket for an Emirates Airlines flight from Dubai to Dhaka on 25 October. The flight is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8 am Bangladesh time.

After all the consideration, the High Court allowed Prashant Kumar (PK) Haldar to return to the country. At the same time, the court ordered the IG of the police and the immigration police to arrest PK Haldar as soon as he returned to the country. In addition, the High Court ordered law enforcement agencies to give PK Haldar the opportunity to pay while in jail. The High Court bench headed by Judge Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sarkar approved the order after hearing the ILFSL’s request that PK Haldar return to the country.
