A teacher named Abdul Matin (43) died after falling from the stairs of the third floor of a building under construction while picnicking on the thirtieth night in Bogra. He died on the way to Dhaka for treatment on Friday morning.

Abdul Matin is the son of the late Mozahar Ali Pramanik from Kalaihata village in Gabtali upazila. He was an assistant teacher at the Dhora government primary school in Gabtali. Master Matin lived with his wife and two daughters in their building in the Natapara Bilpar area of ​​the city.

Parimal Das and Fakhrul Mulk Limon, councilors for the 7th district of Bogra municipality, said that every year on Thursday night, 28 people from different walks of life organize picnics on the occasion of the 30th night. This time, cooking and eating was organized on the roof of a three-story building under construction by a director named Tipu Master. Around 9pm, while on the phone, Professor Abdul Matin tried to go down the stairs without protection and without lights. Then he fell down the stairs and received a blow to the head. He was rushed to Bogra Shajimek Hospital. When his condition deteriorated, he died on the way to Square Hospital in Dhaka.

The Officer-in-Charge (CO) of the Sadar Police Station, Humayun Kabir, said: “I learned of the teacher’s death after falling from the stairs.” This is a sad fact.
