There was a love story, the lover was called and after a physical relationship he was killed by suffocation. The body was buried by digging the VT of the house under construction next door. And the next day, the murderer himself told the owner of the house: “Quickly prepare the VT of the house, if necessary, I will pay for it.” The next day, the lover’s body came out as soon as the smell spread.

The Narayanganj Police Investigation Bureau (PBI) said this at a press conference on Saturday afternoon after the arrest of Yunus Ali, a boyfriend of Araihazar, from a mountainous area on the Indian border in Jaintapur, Sylhet.

According to PBI, Fatema Akhter lived at the home of her uncle Ilias Mollah in Manikpur from the Araihazar Police Station. The defendant Yunus Ali was in the house with him. He came to the country in February this year after living in exile in Malaysia for 9 long years. At that time, Fatima’s grandmother used to call Yunus at home under various pretexts. At one point, Yunus Ali fell in love with Fatima. They began physical intercourse.

PBI Narayanganj District Police Superintendent. Monirul Islam told reporters that Yunus and Fatima’s love story was known in both houses. Meanwhile, Yunus changed houses and moved to a new one in Bishnandi Vengla. From then on, Yunus began looking for a house bride to marry. But Fatima pressures Yunus to get married when she learns of the danger of getting pregnant and seeing Yunus’s girlfriend. But Yunus disagreed. On the afternoon of August 10, Yunus called Fatima on her mobile phone. After visiting different places, Yunus left Fatima at home behind the new house. He left the house around 2 am and went to Fatima to have sex with her. After that, they brought the sand-filled VT of Dalim’s house under construction from the place where the trees were planted and dug a hole with a shovel and put Fatima’s body in it. The next day, the owner of the house under construction asked Sharifa, Dalim’s mother, when the VT would mature. If money is needed, take it from me.

Then, on August 15, while working on the house, Dalim smelled bad from the VT and after removing the half-rotten body of the victim by removing the sand with a shovel, locals reported to the police. Later, the police arrived and sent the body to the morgue and began the investigation by registering a case against the unidentified defendant.

Monirul also said that the PBI, using advanced technology, carried out a one-hour operation in the mountainous area bordering Bangladesh and India from the Jaintapur Police Station in Sylhet on October 8 and arrested the defendant Yunus Ali. The defendant was then raided in the Narayanganj Araihazar Police Station area on 10 December. The shovel with which Fatima’s body was buried in the hole was recovered from Yunus’s old house in front of the witnesses.

Younus said that during the operation, Fatima used her mobile phone, SIM card, national identity card, necklace, earrings, handbag and scarf from the Gopaldi Bazar Gazipura bridge to the Haridoa river. An attempt was made to rescue the merchandise by raiding the place but it was not possible.
