Gazipur: Her mother’s body has been taken to jail to show Shamima Nur Papia, the expelled leader of the popular Women’s League. Hasna Jahan Bithi from Kashimpur Central Women’s Prison confirmed the matter on Tuesday (September 29).
The body of Papia’s mother was brought to the door of the Kashimpur Central Women’s Prison at around 10 pm on Monday (September 26).
According to the district, Shamima Nur Papia, the expelled leader of the Women’s Youth League, who was involved in the case of the Special Powers Act, is housed at the Kashimpur Central Women’s Prison in Gazipur. The body of Papia’s mother was brought to the prison gate in a hearse at night. Later, in the presence of the prison authorities, Papia was taken to the prison door and her mother’s body was shown to her. The body was at the jail door for about 20 minutes.
