Panic around the world for the new kind of crown

Panic has spread across the world over a new strain of coronavirus identified in the UK. The new virus has already been found in Italy and Australia. New species of crown have also been found in Iceland, Denmark and the Netherlands. However, it could not be confirmed whether it is a new species of crown found in the UK.

Earlier on Saturday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and scientists announced the discovery of a new form of coronavirus in the country, saying it was 80% more contagious.

Meanwhile, another species of coronavirus has been found in South Africa, Deutsche Welle reported Monday. However, it does not match the new species of coronavirus found in the UK.

Australian authorities say the virus has been identified in the bodies of two people traveling from the UK to New South Wales, Australia. They are both in quarantine at the hotel.

On the other hand, the Italian Ministry of Health said that the same kind of coronavirus was found in the body of the Italian citizen that was found in the United Kingdom.

One new species of coronavirus after another has caused panic around the world. European countries have suspended flights to the UK after a highly contagious type of coronavirus was identified. These countries are joined by the Middle East, Latin America, South Africa and Asian countries.

In addition, Oman has stopped flights to several countries in the world, including Bangladesh and the United Kingdom.

Earlier on Sunday, Turkey temporarily suspended all flights from the United States. The country’s health ministry said in a tweet. Ankara has also suspended flights to Denmark, the Netherlands and South Africa. On the same day, Saudi Arabia also suspended all international flights, including the UK, for seven days.

Russia suspended all flights from Britain on Monday. The country’s Emergency Working Group has confirmed the matter. Kuwait, Iran, Jordan, Israel and Morocco suspended their flights with the United Kingdom.

According to the Financial Times, several Latin American countries have suspended flights to the UK.

Al Jazeera reports that the authorities of Argentina, Chile, Belgium, Colombia, Croatia, El Salvador, Estonia and Latvia have suspended flights to the United Kingdom.

Other countries on the list include Switzerland, Spain, Romania, Poland, the Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Italy, Germany, France, Finland, and Canada.

Meanwhile, India has suspended all flights from the United States since December 31. Japan and Hong Kong have been added to the list.

The Austrian government also plans to ban flights from the UK, according to the country’s media, citing the Health Ministry.

Sweden says it is preparing to decide whether to impose a travel ban on the UK.
