Bahrain, another country that has acknowledged that Israel is following in the footsteps of the United Arab Emirates, has said it is unwilling to listen to criticism on the issue. The country’s Interior Ministry has made it clear that “legal action” will be taken against social media activists for violating the agreement with Israel.
The Interior Ministry said in a statement that it had monitored social media accounts that were working to tarnish Bahrain’s image as a result of the deal with Israel. The ‘betrayal’ is spreading from these accounts. These actions are a threat to the peace and stability of the country.
