Palestinians are an ungrateful nation: United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates has called the Palestinians an ungrateful nation in the face of harsh criticism following an agreement to normalize relations with Zionist Israel. The Palestinian ambassador to France recently criticized the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain for their agreement to normalize relations with Israel. The emirate then called the Palestinians an ungrateful nation.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Anwar Gargash, wrote in Arabic on his Twitter account: “This statement and criticism of the Palestinian ambassador does not surprise me at all, because it is an ungrateful nation.”

Earlier, the Palestinian ambassador to France, Salman al-Harfi, told a French newspaper that “the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have become more like Israel than Israel and are basically violating the UN Charter.”

He added that he was not at all surprised by the normalization of the UAE’s relations with Israel because the UAE had abandoned the Palestinians long ago and had kept secret relations with Israel. “The new thing is establishing a public relationship and I thank you for revealing your true self,” he said.

The Palestinian ambassador said that, in fact, the UAE was never in favor of Palestine, but had seized assets in Palestine in 1975. Salman al-Harfi criticized the rulers of the UAE, saying that the prince Zayed al-Nahyan was acting like a dictator and trying to establish himself, but in fact he was playing with fire.

Al-Harfi made it clear that the ruler of the United Arab Emirates had surrendered to Israel without a fight. The UAE and Bahrain have violated the Arab League and the UN Charter by establishing relations with Zionist Israel. Parstude
