Pakistan is building a missile base in Kashmir with the help of China. China is using Pakistani-occupied Kashmir as a weapon to pressure India on the Royal Line of Control (LAC) in Ladakh. The Anandabazar newspaper quoted the ‘Research and Analysis Wing’ (RAW) of Indian intelligence as saying.

According to the report, the Pakistani military is building several military facilities in Pakistani-occupied Kashmir, including a missile center, with the help of China.

The report was presented to the central government last month. He said a surface-to-air missile launching facility was being established in the Lasadna area of Pakistani-occupied Kashmir with the help of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA). The report also says that 130 Pakistani soldiers and some 40 civilian construction workers participated in the construction of the missile base near the headquarters of a Pakistani army brigade deployed in Bagh district.

At least 10 soldiers, including three Chinese military officers, will be in charge of the control room at the Lasadna-based missile base, RAW reports. The report also said that similar missile bases would be built with Chinese help at Chakothi in the Hattian Bala district of occupied Kashmir and at Chinari in the Jhilum district of Pakistan’s Punjab province. Some military experts believe that the purpose is to prevent a possible air strike by the Indian Air Force.
