Organizing ‘Radhag Day’ is prohibited on the DU campus

The Academic Council of Dhaka University has decided to ban the celebration of ‘Radg Day’ by students. At the same time, it has been recommended to form an ‘Ethics Review Committee’ in each faculty of the university.

The reason for the banning of “Radha Day” is said to be an inhuman, cruel and unprincipled festival.

There is a tradition of celebrating Rag Day to make the day memorable by organizing festivals on campus at the end of education.

At the same time, on the occasion of the university’s centenary and the golden anniversary of independence, emphasis was placed on the adoption of basic research projects and research publications.
