Many countries around the world have announced the cancellation of flights with the United Kingdom after learning that a new type of coronavirus has ‘gone haywire’. This time, the government of Oman has decided to close the border with all countries in the world, including the United Kingdom, for a week.

According to a Times of Oman report, the country’s Supreme Crown Epidemic Control Committee decided to close the border for a week starting Tuesday. At this time, it is not possible to enter or leave Oman by land, river or air.

Previously, for the same reason, countries such as Germany, France, Italy and Canada announced to cut communication with the British.

As news of a new species of coronavirus has emerged in the UK recently, several countries have started to ban aviation. Canada has also announced the cancellation of flights with the UK after European countries imposed bans on British travelers. Oman is the last Middle Eastern country to make the list.

The Netherlands announced the cancellation of the first flight with the United Kingdom. Later Belgium, Italy, Germany and France followed the same path.

Meanwhile, a new strain of coronavirus capable of spreading rapidly after the UK has also been identified in Australia. After the UK, the same ‘strain’ of the virus was identified in Australia, country officials said.

The virus was found in the bodies of two people traveling from the United Kingdom to New South Wales in Australia, the Reuters news agency reported on Monday. They are both in quarantine at the hotel.
