A man died on Wednesday in the village of Bhabarpara in Mujibnagar upazila in Meherpur. Body samples were collected and sent for testing to confirm if he died of a crown. Results not yet found.
There are special government guidelines and arrangements for the burial of such corpses. As a result, the matter was reported to the administration by the family.
The administration requested the janaza and the burial of the deceased, along with five other members of the committee formed by the Islamic Foundation of the Meherpur District. Committees have been formed across the country for such funerals and burials. But when the five scholars discovered that samples had been collected on suspicion of the person’s coronation, they went straight to denying the janaza and burial of the body.
Mujibnagar Upazila Nirbahi (UN) officer Usman Gani tried to explain a lot. He told them that the person who died could not have been infected. Samples were sent only on suspicion. Other than that, this committee has been formed only for the burial of people who have died due to the crown. If you don’t do this, who else will show up?
But no argument worked. Janaza, five scholars left without burial. As a result, ONE Usman Gani was in danger with the body of the deceased. He then discussed the matter with the deputy commissioner.
The UN itself, the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer and the Police Inspector (Investigation) of the police station teamed up to bury the body. The personal protective equipment (PPE) brought for the scholars was worn by four young men from among the relatives of the deceased.
UNO Usman Ghani said: “We were preparing for the janaza. But at the last moment, the imam of the Japal mosque in Gopalnagar, Maulana Touhidul Islam, came and led the janaza. Then we buried the body with three officers and five young men.
Finally Corona completes the burial of the suspect. After the funeral, UNO gave a status on its Facebook page. At the end of the narration, he wrote the question: “Only one thing remained unknown, I did not understand what the five scholars taught us.”
