At the same time, the deputy accused Charbhadrasan official Upazila Nirbahi, Bhangar (Lands) Deputy Commissioner and Acting Executive Magistrate of ‘indecent language, intimidation and intimidation’ after arresting an election agent for voting and smoking in front of a voting booth on election day. The statement said that Nixon Chowdhury had violated electoral rules by participating in the election campaign by not being present in the constituency as a member of Parliament and by “insulting and intimidating” the officials in charge.
On the morning of the election, MP Nixon reportedly called the UN from Charbhadrasan and threatened to insult another executive magistrate. When the audio of their phone conversation was released on Facebook, criticism began.
However, MP Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury Nixon claimed his innocence at a press conference at the National Press Club in Dhaka. He claimed that the threatening audio that went viral on Facebook was “super credited.”
