Previously, another Bangabandhu assassin, Abdul Majed, was arrested on April 7 and sent to court. The police report filed with the court said he was riding a rickshaw in front of the Gabtoli bus stop in the capital. He was questioned. His speech seems inconsistent. Upon questioning, he confessed his identity. However, the idea in the Indian media is that that country’s spies arrested him and turned him over to Bangladesh. Majed was hanged at 12:01 pm on April 12 at Dhaka Central Prison. Majed lived in India for 22 to 23 years. He also took the passport of that country.

After Mosle Uddin’s arrest, there are now four Bangabandhu assassins who have confessed and have been sentenced to death. They are Khandaker Abdur Rashid, Shariful Haque Dalim, SHMB Nur Chowdhury and AM Rashed Chowdhury. They are all former army officers.

Among the killers, Syed Farooq Rahman, Bazlul Huda, AKM Mohiuddin Ahmed, Sultan Shahriar Rashid Khan and Muhiuddin Ahmed were executed on the night of January 26, 2010. Defendant Aziz Pasha died in Zimbabwe in 2002 while fleeing before the verdict entered in force.
