Every year the main Tazia de Ashura procession in Dhaka departs from Imambara for Hossaini Dalan in Old Dhaka. It ends in the symbolic compound of ‘Karbala’ in Dhanmondi after traveling several roads in the capital.
This time it was confined to the Imambara facilities due to epidemic restrictions, but residents of the Geneva camp in Mohammadpur did not comply with the restrictions.
