Dhaka: The cabinet has again ordered not to provide public-private services and to guarantee physical distance if the mask is not used.

The directive was given at a virtual cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday (December 21), Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam said.

From the Ganobhaban to the Prime Minister and from the Cabinet Division conference room in the Secretariat, the Ministers-in-Charge participated in the meeting.

In a briefing after the meeting, he said that the cabinet has been briefed on the steps and action plan taken by the local government department to prevent Kovid-19 infection.

In the wake of the corona virus epidemic, the government forced everyone to wear a mask outside their homes last July. A mobile court is being installed to ensure everyone wears a mask.

The cabinet secretary said the local government is promoting “No Mask, No Service” to make it widely known. In rural areas, teachers, journalists, public representatives, people aware of society have been included in this work.

‌’The Prime Minister has instructed that since the corona virus is spreading in the world, we must take a little stronger action. So that social distance can be maintained as much as possible. And the subject of masks is discussed over and over again. ‘

He said, no mask, no service, I say it orally, it has to be applied practically. We have to make sure that the person not wearing the mask is not served in any way in the public-private office. An important role in this has been given to the local government department.

Anwarul Islam said, now there is an advantage, we understand. But in March, April, May we had no idea. Now you understand the treatment protocol, you understand the management management.
