The hero Akbar Hossain Pathan Farooq has undergone various complications in his body during most of the Coronation period. There was no defect in the treatment at home and abroad.
The Dhaka-17 MP went to Singapore on March 4 for a regular check-up. Although he has been normal for so long, his physical condition deteriorated on Saturday morning (March 13). He was then monitored by doctors in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a local hospital.
The actor’s niece, actress and host Asma Pathan Rumpa, confirmed the matter at noon on Saturday (March 13).
He said: ‘He’s been in Singapore since March 4. I went there for regular checkups. Everything was fine. But on Saturday morning (March 13) his physical condition deteriorated. They rushed him to the ICU. Now he is under the constant observation of a doctor.
He further said: ‘No one is allowed to meet him. It is even forbidden to speak on the phone. I ask everyone for blessings for my uncle.
Farooq has been ill several times before. He has received advanced treatment in Singapore. The veteran actor and producer was also attacked in Corona.
Chitranayak Farooq was born in 1948 in Dhaka. He made his Dhaka film debut in 1981 starring in H Akbar’s ‘Jalchhabi’. Then he became one of the most popular heroes.
After a long and successful career in film, he is now fulfilling the responsibility of the representative of the people of Dhaka-17 constituency.
