Fahad Al Abdullah, a former student at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUSTU), had the opportunity to work as a meteorologist at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He was a student of the 2009-10 session of the Physics Department of the University.
He highlighted his success through social media on Friday.
Fahad said he would first start working as a researcher at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Your workplace will be first at NASA’s Office of Global Models and Satellite Data Assimilation. Its initial project will be in collaboration with UMD and NASA JPL.
“I’ll work as a scientist at NASA, which seems like a dream to me,” he said of the opportunity to get a job at NASA. He thanked everyone who was by his side for fulfilling this dream.
“I want to contribute to my homeland and my country,” Fahad al-Abdullah said.
After earning an Honors Master’s Degree in Physics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, he earned his Ph.D. from George Mason University in the United States. Then he joined NASA.
