Visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Satkhira. On the second day of the tour, he left Dhaka by helicopter at 7.45am on Saturday (March 26). From Satkhira, Modi will go to Tungipara in Gopalganj, the birthplace of Bangabandhu.

After visiting Satkhira, Narendra Modi will go to Tungipara in Gopalganj. There he will pay tribute to the tomb of Bangabandhu. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Tungipara before Narendra Modi arrives. There he will receive the Prime Minister of India.
It is known that Narendra Modi will plant a young tree in the mausoleum complex after paying tribute to the tomb of Bangabandhu.
From there you will go to Orakandi in Kashiani. There you will worship at the temple of Sri Sri Harichand and Guruchand Tagore at the house of Harichand Tagore. Later, he will exchange points of view with representatives of the Matua community. Then Modi will return to Dhaka.
Earlier on Friday (March 26), he arrived in Dhaka to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the nation’s father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of independence. At 10:32 am, a special plane carrying the 71-member Indian delegation headed by Modi landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. He was met at the airport by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina. Then Sheikh Hasina took the stage with Modi. Modi received a red carpet reception and an honor guard.
