The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has summoned the Indian charge d’affaires stationed in Islamabad over the mysterious death of 11 members of a Pakistani family in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
According to the Iranian Tasnim news agency, Pakistani Foreign Ministry officials at the time reported strong protest from Islamabad over the deaths of Pakistani nationals on Indian soil. Pakistani officials asked New Delhi to provide Islamabad with all information on the deaths of its 811 citizens.
Tasnim was quoted by the Pakistani Foreign Ministry as saying that all 11 members of a Pakistani family died mysteriously on August 9 in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Despite repeated pleas from the Pakistani embassy in New Delhi, Indian officials have not provided any information to the embassy and Islamabad still does not know the cause of the tragic death.
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said that if India did not extend the necessary cooperation to Islamabad in this regard, relations between the two countries would further deteriorate and the political crisis in South Asia would intensify. Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs hopes that New Delhi will prepare the necessary bases to investigate the deaths of all family members. Parstude
