Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said: “The Awami League leaders and activists have sacrificed for the people in the face of the Corona epidemic, but no other party stands by the people and simply review”.

The president of the Awami League said this at a meeting of the central executive parliament of the Awami League in Ganobhaban on Saturday (October 3). He also gave various organizational instructions to the party leaders at the meeting.

Sheikh Hasina said: ‘The organizing force is the greatest. The fact that the Awami League has this grassroots organizational strength has been proven only when they took to the field to deal with this epidemic. That is why around 522 of my leaders and activists have died today. Probably no other party has made such a great sacrifice. They have given mouthpiece service.

Addressing critics of the government, the Prime Minister said: ‘Now there are good media in the country. I have given private television, private radio, many magazines. That is like mixing the sweetness of your mind. But they were not seen with the people in the field. Some of them re-judged the Awami League … how much they did and how much they didn’t. But they don’t look in the mirror.

“Only the Awami League stands by the people in these difficult times,” he said, “because the Awami League is a popular organization.” The Awami League works in the interest of the people. The Father of the Nation has brought freedom for the socio-economic development of the people of Bangladesh. Our goal is to ensure that the benefits of that freedom reach the homes of all human beings, that we can build a Bangladesh without poverty, that we can realize the dream of the father of the nation. “

Sheikh Hasina also ordered to continue organizing activities during this crisis.

‘I don’t think we have to travel a lot, but we have to continue organizing activities. We may have had conventions in different places, but because of Corona we were no longer able to form committees or find anyone. I think now we can do it slowly. ‘

The president of the Awami League instructed the central leaders to keep in touch with the common people.

Sheikh Hasina also raised the issue of “arson” of the BNP-Jamaat alliance against the work of the Awami League. “We have seen their destructive activities,” he said.
