Kangana returned to Mumbai today, keeping the conflict with the Maharashtra government alive. Meanwhile, the Brihanmumbai Municipality (BMC) began demolishing his office at noon. The actress approached the Bombay High Court. In response to that, the court issued an order suspending the demolition of the building that day.
The day before, BMC had posted a notice outside a Manikarnika Films office in Kangana, Pali Hill, alleging illegal construction. The notice said that the kitchen and bathroom in Kangna’s office had been moved and built from one location to another without permission. The actress was asked to respond to the ad within 24 hours. Kangana also responded on Wednesday morning. But the authorities are not satisfied with that. BMC began demolishing the office with a bulldozer this afternoon. Police forces were also deployed outside the office.
Kangana Ranaut questioned the role of the Mumbai police towards Riya Chakraborty in the investigation into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The Bollywood ‘queen’ was also involved in a war of words with Maharashtra’s Interior Minister Sanjay Raut. She even compared Mumbai to Pakistani-occupied Kashmir and Kangana was again attacked by the state government. Threats came one after another. Shiv Sena protested in the streets with photos of Kangana. In this context, the central government provides category Y security for the security of Kangana.
