Another man, Abdul Hannan, 50, was killed in an explosion at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque on the west floor of Fatullah in Narayanganj. The death toll has risen to 26.
Hannan died at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Subsequently, the institute coordinator, Prof. Dr. confirmed the matter to NTV Online. Samanta Lal Sen. He said that now nine more people are receiving treatment in the burn unit.
The blast took place at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque in the western part of Fatulla in Narayanganj during Esha prayers last Friday. So far 26 faithful have died in it. Meanwhile, the bodies of 26 people have been handed over to their families.
