On Tuesday, the third day of coronavirus vaccination across the country, 1 lakh 1,162 people were vaccinated.
Mass vaccination began on Sunday across the country. After that, in the past three days, a total of 1 lakh 89,316 people were vaccinated against the coronavirus. 7,069 people were vaccinated in the first two days.
On the third day, 12,517 people were vaccinated at 48 hospitals in the capital Dhaka on Tuesday.
On the other hand, in the Dhaka division, 25,220 people have been the most vaccinated. In addition, 23,544 people in Chittagong division, 13,114 people in Rajshahi division, 10,237 people in Rangpur division, 6,559 people in Sylhet division, 11,362 people in the division of Khulna, 4,161 people in the Barisal division and 4,655 people were vaccinated in the Mymensingh division.
Meanwhile, the Department of Health’s Department of Medical Information Services (MIS) said in a news release that 206 of those vaccinated Tuesday had “minor side effects.” Previously, 92 people who were vaccinated on Monday and 21 who were vaccinated on Sunday had no major problems except for “mild side effects.”
Vaccines are administered in more than a thousand hospitals and health centers across the country every day from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
