The Coordinating Council candidate, Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi, has been elected fourth vice president of BFF for the second time in a row. She lost to her rival Tabitha Awal by 4 votes.

Mohiuddin has been officially declared the winner. The chief election commissioner, Mezbah Uddin, announced the results.

Mohiuddin of the Coordinating Council obtained 6 votes. Independent candidate Tabitha Awal, for her part, got 63 votes. Of the 139 councilors, 130 voted that day.

As soon as the election results came out, Mohiuddin’s supporters erupted in joy. Now there was no obstacle for the rest of the standing BFF committee to fix itself.

In the BFF elections on October 3, only two candidates for the vice president position got the same votes. No one could be elected fourth vice president at the time, as Mohiuddin and Tabitha Awal each got 75 votes from the coordinating council. That position was re-elected today.

Voting took place at the Hotel Sonargaon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Due to re-election in a position, voting time was reduced.
