Everyone has to wear a mask when leaving the house during the Kovid-19 epidemic. The cabinet has directed the field administration to enforce the law through mobile courts if necessary to ensure that everyone wears a mask.
The wearing of masks was discussed in a virtual cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday, Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam said.
In a briefing at the end of the meeting, he said that the Kovid-19 virus is once again prevalent in Europe and America. For that, the Prime Minister has paid special attention, for everyone to be aware of this, everyone must wear a mask. The rest is uncertain.
The secretary said that the issue of relaxation in the use of masks has been discussed in the cabinet. For this, people need to be more aware, many people feel a bit relaxed.
In the wake of the coronavirus epidemic, the government forced everyone to wear masks outside their homes in late July. Despite warnings that the second wave of the epidemic is hitting Bangladesh, many are reluctant to wear masks.
The cabinet secretary said that it would not be possible to go to public places without masks in any way, adding that no one would be guaranteed to go to mosques, public gathering places and festivals without masks.
“The prime minister and the cabinet hope that everyone is aware and pay more attention to wearing masks, then we will automatically get some relief,” he said. The cabinet is instructing everyone to wear masks.
The cabinet secretary said mobile courts would be established if necessary to ensure the use of masks, adding that commissioners had been instructed to use mobile courts. If you have to ask, motivate or force people everywhere as much as possible, the law will also be enforced, no problem.
