Mithun and Sridevi secretly married during the filming of the movie.

Thousands of stories are hidden behind every Bollywood movie. One of those movies is ‘Watan Ke Rakhwale’. This movie was produced by Feroz Nadiwadwala. T Ramarao was also the director. The script was written by Quader Khan.

The protagonist was Ashok Kumar, Sunil Dutt, Dharmendra, Quader Khan, Moushumi Chatterjee, Mithun Chakraborty and Sridevi. Shakti Kapoor and Prem Chopra were in the role of villains.

Sridevi’s voice was dubbed in the film. Because the director-producer did not like the Hindi pronunciation of that time. The name of the image was also changed. At first it was called ‘Jiler’.
