Six convicts sentenced to death in the highly disputed murder case of Rifat Sharif in Barguna have been held in the condom cell of the Barguna District Jail. He said that Minni is the only inmate in Barguna jail right now in the condom cell. Apart from Minni, there are no other female prisoners in the condom cell at Barguna prison.
Five other men charged in the Rifat murder case have also been held in a condom cell. Apart from these five male inmates, there are no other male inmates in the condom cell at Barguna prison, the prison superintendent said.

He said that the six convicts sentenced to death in the Rifat murder case had mental disorders in the condom cell. The jail also issued two sets of clothing to each defendant. They will wear this dress.
When asked if there were any plans to transfer the six convicts, including Minni, to another jail in the country, the superintendent of the jail, Anwar Hossain, said: “We will discuss the matter with the higher authorities and take action according to their instructions.” . At present, the necessary steps are being taken to allow the accused to appeal to the higher court.
