Judge KM Imrul Kayesh of Dhaka Metropolitan Special Court No. 1 will announce the verdict in the case on Monday.

Detectives detained Shahid after he was arrested at the Debhata border in Satkhira on the morning of July 15. During pre-trial detention, a pistol with ammunition and some drugs were seized from his car in a raid in Uttara on the night of July 18.
Following the verdict, the judge said: “Shahed bought the car with a loan of Tk 20 lakh. But he did not confess in court. Shahid gave false information to the court. He is a very smart and cunning person. He was unable to obtain any mercy from the court as he was shown to have a gun in his car. “
Abdullah Abu Roy, the chief state prosecutor in the case, told bdnews24.com after the verdict: The verdict in the case has shown that Shahed is a criminal. This verdict will be an example in society ”.
The investigator of the case said the detective police inspector. After Sairul Islam filed a charge sheet with the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrates Court on July 30, the court started the trial on August 28 by forming a charge sheet. The case reached a verdict in just eight business days from the formation of the complaint.
Prosecutor Abdullah Abu said that no other criminal case had been decided in Bangladesh in such a short time.
Shahed’s attorney said in context. Moniruzzaman told reporters: “The case ended in just 7 business days. The rush became more. I did not receive justice. We will go to the higher court against the verdict ”.
