She spoke as a keynote guest at the opening of Sher-e-Bangla Mahila Mahavidyalaya’s ten-story Sheikh Hasina Academic Building in Tikatuli in the capital on Wednesday (November 18).

“We want to bring the city under proper management,” Tapas said. We want to close all commercial establishments and stores before 8 pm. The outside world sees that everything shuts down after a certain period of time. 5 o’clock, 6 o’clock, 6 o’clock, 8 o’clock, 9 o’clock – Time limits are determined by area in different areas. We believe that if the shops and businesses in Dhaka City close at 8pm for the people of Dhaka, we will be able to bring our general activities under proper management.

He said: ‘If the shops close at 8 am, the city of Dhaka will get rid of traffic jams, I will be able to spend time with my family, I will be able to spend time with my children, which is very important. It is very important that all parents give their children time if they want to develop them as good citizens. We often forget it, we don’t notice it. We go home tired, maybe like ourselves or we fall asleep or we take care of other things. But giving children time is a very important issue in the formation of any nation. So, all things considered, we have set a schedule until 8 pm to keep stores and businesses open. I want everyone’s cooperation to make it effective.

Early in the morning, DSCC Barrister Sheikh Taposh said at the opening ceremony of Azimpur Modern Nagar Market: ‘I am starting the work of this market by laying the first stone today. There will be a countdown panel. Inshallah we will complete this work within a specified period of 2 years.
