Meanwhile, Sayedee’s lawyer, Matiur Rahman Akand, said that Shamim Sayedee and Masood Sayedee, the defenders of the case, have not been allowed to enter the court. He said the court had accepted Sayedee’s request to arrange transportation to and from the court under his charge as he was 72 years old.
Earlier, Delwar Hossain Sayedee was brought before a court of special judges from Kashimpur jail in a prison van in the morning in a zakat embezzlement case.
