SA Alam Sabuj, husband of the late Nasreen Akhter, presented the case in the Main Metropolitan Magistrates Court of Dhaka on Tuesday.

Nasrin, the city’s public health hospital doctor at No. 1, said. Shawkat Ali Arman, gynecologist. Delwar Hossain and Sebika Shankari Rani Sarkar have been asked to be considered accused.

Azad Rahman, the court’s deputy prosecutor, told bdnews24.com that Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury had accepted the plaintiff’s statement and ordered the Police Investigation Bureau (PBI) to investigate the allegations and submit a report on the 21st. from January.

Nasrin Akhter, wife of SA Alam Sabuj, was admitted to Gonoswasthya Nagar Hospital on September 24. They had an idea, get a good deal there. But “they did not receive the service.” During Nasreen Akhtar’s labor pains, her husband Sabuj repeatedly informed Shankari Rani, but she did not “give it importance.” When the patient’s condition was critical, Sabuj Shankari asked Rani to call a doctor. Then Shankari Rani called the internal physician Shuvo and Nupur. They both came and said, everything is ‘OK’.

Then Dr. Shankari. Delwar Hossain and Dr. Nasreen said they called her to come. But no doctor came. When Nasreen Akhter requested the application of saline, pain relievers, they did not. Shankari Rani forced her baby to be born without saline or pain relievers. At one point of additional bleeding, she died shortly after giving birth to a girl.

Hospital authorities have admitted that they have some negligence behind the death of the patient. They promised to resolve the matter but then paid no attention to the plaintiff. The defendant said the matter would not be resolved and a case would be presented if possible.

Then, on December 16, the plaintiff went to the Dhanmondi Police Station to present a case and from there was advised to present a case in court.

Lawyer Azad Rahman said that Masammat Rokeya, the deceased’s sister, is a lawyer from the Dhaka Bar. He and some other lawyers spoke on behalf of the plaintiff in court.
